Google Analytics

Google Analytics is one of the best web tools out there for business owners. It helps provides crucial information that could potentially help you make important business decisions.

With analytics, you can pretty much see how many clicks your website gets on a daily basis, monthly, yearly, or even up-to-date. With this information, you are able to see where in the world those clicks are coming from. This can be very useful for somebody who is operating and managing a business because, with this type of information, they are able to build  and tailor strategies to that market.

Analytics can also be useful for other things too. For example, you can see how SEO (Search Engine Optimization) is affecting your website traffic. Maybe after optimizing your website for better crawling, your traffic skyrocketed? Google Analytics won’t keep you guessing.

Search Engine Optimization (SEO)

So you created a website for your business that took you hours upon hours of hard work and dedication. You now wait patiently hoping that your website would attract a potential client who’d want to get in contact with you. You now realize that it’s been a month and still no messages have gone through your website “Contact form” and into your email.

Search Engine Optimization is a crucial part of website development. What good is it if you create the perfect website with no way for anyone using the popular search engines to reach it? SEO helps your website rise to the top of the search engines so that it gets more traffic. Search engines pretty much seek out information; they look for specific criteria. The way to move up the rankings is to satisfy those criteria with the content and data that your website contains.

Google Analytics is a great way to check your website traffic after indexing your website to appear in the google search results. There you can check to see if your SEO strategies are actually working.

Application Programming Interface (API)

An API is a messenger that receives a task/request, sends it to the system/tells it what to do, and comes back with a response.

The reason why API’s are important because they make life easier. An example of an API is the twitter feed on the right side on this blog post. The widget sends a request to Twitter’s API for the username that I provided, then it communicates with Twitter’s servers and responds with the twitter feed for that username.

Same this is true for all other social media widgets like Instagram, Facebook, Youtube etc.

Romantic Dinner at the Atrium

I have to say this place is the perfect place if you’re trying to impress a date, celebrate your anniversary, and maybe propose! There’s a beautiful outdoor dining space at the center of the establishment called the Atrium (also known as the Middle Courtyard). Imagine this, sitting there you’re enclosed on all four sides the beauty of Renaissance and Victoria style architecture and surrounded by a potted garden filled with a large assortment of wonderful plants and beautiful flowers. At night if you look towards the sky you’ll see the stars and moon staring brightly back at you. You can hear the gentle stream of water flowing from the Japanese influence fountain just several feet from you and a soothing sound of grasshoppers chirping nearby. Sitting across from you is your intimate lover and between the two of you is a dimly lit candle expelling a light fragrance of lavender and roses and exposing the loving features of his/her face. In front of you sits a plate of Lobster Risotto accompanied by a glass of red wine from France. This could be you if you came to Madeline Garden for dinner!
